Role: Communications Workstream Lead
Location: (Hybrid Role – 2-4 days per week in East London or Manchester onsite), the rest remote
Start: ASAP, likely early 2026
Duration: 6 months initially plus likely extension (inside IR35)
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Deloitte team supporting the delivery of a large-scale remediation programme.
Communications Workstream Lead
Lead and coordinate all communications for the programme, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accountability for the delivery of the Communications Workstream within a wider remediation programme, responsible for the plan set up and execution.
* Developing, owning, and executing the overarching Communications Strategy and Plan for the programme, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
* Leading a workstream team consisting of SME’s, Project Manager and Business Analyst, reporting into Programme Leadership.
* Responsible for creating a Customer Communication Strategy across a large-scale remediation programme, considering customer circumstances and cohorts, appropriate scheduling to meet contact deadlines.
* Ability to draft customer communications across varying customer groups, aligning to consumer duty principals and approach.
* Ability to communicate internally on workstream progress, drafting internal communications for operations, leadership groups and the wider business.
* Adhering to a programme governance framework, responsible for running Workstream meetings and reporting up into Steering level committees.
* A cross-programme approach will be required as you will be expected to work closely with other remediation pillars including Risk/Compliance, Operations, Data and MI/Reporting.
* Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating communications-related risks, and establishing robust approval processes for all messaging, particularly sensitive customer and public-facing content.
* Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) for communications effectiveness, establishing mechanisms for tracking, measuring, and reporting on their impact, and continuously optimise strategies and content.
