Job Description
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will utilize their strong analytical skills and domain knowledge to extract insights from data related to IT service delivery and management. This role requires a deep understanding of ITIL processes, service management principles, and a proven track record of applying data science techniques to improve IT operations efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
* Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets related to IT service management, incident management, change management, and other ITIL processes.
* Develop predictive models to forecast IT service performance, identify potential issues before they occur, and optimize resource allocation for IT support and infrastructure.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT service delivery and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Provide actionable insights to enhance service quality and efficiency.
* Conduct root cause analysis of IT incidents and problems using data-driven approaches. Identify underlying patterns and trends to prevent recurrence and minimize service disruptions.
* Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights derived from data analysis. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT operations, software development, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in IT service management and data science. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of IT service delivery.
* Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with a focus on ITSM and ITIL.
* In-depth knowledge of ITIL framework, processes, and terminology.
* Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
