Academics are a local teacher recruitment agency and we are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit an Art and DT Teacher on a temporary basis.
Role Details:
* Start date: May 2026
* Duration: Until July 2026
* Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
* Daily rate: £160 - £230 (depending on experience)
The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with a strong local reputation. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Art and DT
* Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 across a range of abilities
* Excellent classroom management and teaching practice
* Ability to engage and inspire students
* Professional, reliable, and committed xsngvjr to safeguarding
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
