You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This hospital has established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care and specialises in the management and treatment of mental health problems including eating disorders To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin As a Nurse your key duties include: To provide support to the Nursing and wider MDTs in ensuring the patients in the defined area have their physical healthcare nursing needs identified, care planned and evaluated in accordance with best practice and clinical evidence Provide advice and support to colleagues at the site regarding physical healthcare needs in general terms; this includes Infection control, screening programmes and site specific requirements, depending on the clinical speciality Be the site lead for Infection Prevention and control The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Qualified Mentor or to achieve within 12 months of coming into post. Knowledge of NMC guidelines and professional practices Evidence of post registration continuing professional development Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise Excellent verbal and written communication skills The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £23,004 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent part time role working 20 hours a week.
