Youth Support Worker
Overview
As a Youth Support Worker you will be helping young people transition to independent living, duties include:
Responsibilities
* Provide emotional and practical support, including out-of-hours on-call.
* Involvement in support plans and risk assessments.
* Help young people access education, training, and employment.
* Manage properties and liaise with other professionals.
* Support our young people to develop independent living skills to prepare them to live fully independently.
Qualifications
* A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
* Experience working with young people.
* Ability to be resilient and empathetic when working with our young people.
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving abilities and ability to manage your own workload.
Pay & Working Hours
* Salary £24,570.
* Average mileage - £250 per month.
* Sleep ins 2 per week.
* On call £17.50 per day, average 1 week a month, Access to Tastecard, Bluelight card, and MyGym discounts.
