What you will do:
* Manage a complex caseload of child protection and court cases.
* Conduct thorough assessments and risk analysis to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
* Prepare and present detailed court reports and provide evidence in legal proceedings.
* Develop and implement effective care plans for children needing protection or involved in proceedings.
* Work closely and collaboratively with families, guardians, legal teams, and multi-agency professionals to ensure positive outcomes.
* Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and court hearings as required.
* Ensure all work complies with the Children’s Act 1989, Working Together to Safeguard Children guidelines, and other relevant legislation.
* – Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports using the Council’s case management systems.
