Our client, a well-established family-run engineering firm located in Leeds (LS10 area), is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their team as a Trainee Bucket Punching and Belting Machine/Warehouse Assistant in a Temp-Perm Production Assistant role. Working alongside an experienced and accomplished team, you will receive comprehensive training to excel in this position.
As a Trainee Bucket Punching and Belting Machine/Warehouse Assistant, you will be part of a clean and organised working environment, collaborating closely with a small team to ensure timely order fulfilment and efficient goods management. Responsibilities of the Trainee Bucket Punching and Belting Machine/Warehouse Assistant:
Bucket punching and belting machine work
Perform heavy lifting tasks
Accurately pick and pack items from a designated list
Operate forklift trucks (licence and training provided)
Utilise handheld scanning devices
Engage in general machinery operations
Receive training on machine setup and execution Requirements for the Trainee Bucket Punching and Belting Machine/Warehouse Assistant:
Strong communication skills
Proficient in numeracy and literacy
Previous warehouse experience is highly advantageous Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1 PM finish on Fridays.
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
