About the Role
Support Workers – Southport
We’re looking for new members of the team in our supported living service in Southport – and we need amazing Support Workers to join the team!
You’ll help 6 adults (4 men and 2 ladies) with learning disabilities, autism, Asperger's, epilepsy and physical disabilities to live happily in their shared home and support them to live life to the fullest. From personal care to holidays to community activities and playing games, no two days will be the same!
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to residents.
* Plan and facilitate community activities and games.
* Assist with holiday and community outings.
* Support daily living tasks and promote independence.
* Maintain a safe and caring environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Kind hearts and flexible minds.
* Experience with challenging behaviour – big bonus.
* Trauma-informed care or autism experience – even better.
* 36 hours per week (night shift 8pm–8am, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays).
* Male colleague required (genuine occupational requirement).
Work Hours & Conditions
* 36 hours per week, night shifts (8pm–8am).
* Guaranteed shifts with rota available 4–6 weeks in advance.
