Summary
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Windsor Court. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission by providing high-quality support and assistance to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
* Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents.
* Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents.
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive resident care.
* Support residents with mobility needs using appropriate equipment.
* Engage residents in social activities to promote their mental well-being.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in nursing home settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of dementia and care principles.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving residents as needed.
