Job Title: Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist – SEN School – Aylesbury Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Aylesbury Start: ASAP Duration: Permanent Rate: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum Working hours: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join our client’s team at a private special educational needs (SEN) school in Aylesbury. The school provides education and care for up to 176 young people aged 11–19 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). The school was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in September 2021 and proudly holds the National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation. Key Responsibilities Assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of language and communication difficulties Develop SLT care plans, based on best practice via a range of direct and/or indirect models of delivery within an educational setting, evaluating the impact the individual, considering the barriers to activity and participation within the educational setting Train education staff to incorporate specialist strategies and intervention. approaches into their practice and participate in monitoring the effectiveness of that training Communicate complex condition related information from assessment to clients, carers, families and members of the multi-disciplinary team Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registration Experience working with children or adults with communication needs Car driver (desirable) Why work with Pulse?
