Role Overview
We are seeking a Gas-Qualified Domestic Appliance Engineer with CCN1 and CKR1 certification to join our Ipswich team. You will repair and service a range of domestic white goods appliances including gas cookers, washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, and refrigeration, delivering excellent first-time fixes and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair gas cooking appliances (CCN1 & CKR1 required)
* Service and repair at least 4 of the following: washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, refrigeration, and electric cookers
* Work efficiently on pre-planned routes with daily parts delivery
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain high first-time fix rates
* Work independently while following company processes and health & safety standards
What You'll Need
* Minimum 2 years' experience repairing white goods in the field
* Valid ACS certificates: CCN1 and CKR1 (LAU1 and LPG conversion are a bonus)
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Strong fault diagnostic and repair skills of white goods and good communication abilities
* Commitment to delivering quality repairs and great customer experience
What We Offer
* Competitive salary £37,000 - £41,000 basic (Inclusive of £5,000 per annum high cost living allowance) + uncapped bonus (OTE up to £50,000)
