Your Role as SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or medical needs. Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and ensuring inclusive classroom practice. Foster positive relationships to help students feel safe, understood, and supported. Collaborate closely with SENCOs, teachers, and other professionals to support pupil progress. Support the creation of an engaging, nurturing, and accessible learning environment. What You’ll Need as an SEN TA: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or similar). A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive practice (desirable). Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support (advantageous but not essential). An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Why GSL Education?
