Job Purpose:
1. To support the Manager in aspects of appropriate service provision- ensuring policies and procedures, codes of conduct and practice, and all relevant legislation are adhered to.
2. To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident physiotherapy care in order to maintain or improve current physical abilities whilst promoting the residents privacy, dignity, independence and choice.
3. To liaise with outside agencies to ensure that the resident receives the best available treatment and input relative to their needs.

Care Management:
1. To maintain a high standard of care and ensure a positive environment and atmosphere are promoted within the Home at all times.
2. To be responsible for ensuring each resident has an on-going assessment of their physical abilities with an agreed plan formulated detailing identified goals, interventions required and associated risks involved.
3. Evaluation and review of exercise plans are to be performed in line with company policy, with adjustments made as necessary to reflect any changes in the residents condition and needs.
