Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Supervise and carry overall responsibility for the delivery and performance of a Major Project Site Team, ensuring safety, on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with the Project Team to maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental care, providing necessary information to meet statutory and legal requirements.
Experience Required
Commercial Management
* Manage, order, and coordinate the delivery, storage, and maintenance of all materials, plant, and equipment on site.
Contract Management
* Assist Project Manager in delivering changes to the works directed by the client.
* Direct, coach, and support site teams (including subcontractors) on all site-related activity to meet contractual obligations and achieve production targets.
Project Management
* Collaborate with the Site Management Team to develop work programmes and method statements.
* Lead regular site inspections in conjunction with appropriate management to ensure works are constructed correctly and safely, conforming to Codes of Practice, Method Statements and risk assessments; provide reports to Senior Management and monitor actions taken.
* Ensure all site employees are briefed on safe systems of work, including Toolbox talks, Task Briefings, and Method Statements.
Assurance
* Collaborate with the Project Manager and HSQE Team in developing and implementing the Project IMS Plan.
* Ensure that appropriate Health & Safety plans are in place and regularly monitor and report on Health & Safety performance and risks.
* Manage the close-out of any Close Calls or unsafe acts/conditions and lead investigations of any accidents or incidents.
Administration
* Collaborate with the project team in attending regular project meetings.
* Assist Project Manager in maintaining, auditing, and updating management plans.
* Utilize and input documents into the document control system as required.
* Assist in learning from experience meetings.
Reporting
* Accurately monitor, document, and report progress of work in accordance with company procedures.
* Assist Engineering Manager in compiling handover documentation.
