We are looking to recruit a Portfolio Sales Manager to join the Team in our London branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of existing accounts and developing new ones, they will attend meetings for both new and existing businesses to assist with existing contracts and develop new business opportunities. Tasked with maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential new clients, you will need to work closely with our operational teams. You will have personal targets to manage and ensure they are achieved. We are looking for a dynamic individual who brings with them market knowledge and the tenacity to develop existing accounts, proactive account management and also able to secure new business opportunities. This is a full time and permanent role.
Duties & Responsibilties:
1. Drive and maximise portfolio growth opportunities through robust sales strategy and action plans
2. Accountable for developing a strong sales pipeline and winning new service contracts from the open market
3. Converting newly installed lifts (PCM) to ongoing service contracts prior to the end of warranty
4. Upselling Schindler’s digital services to new and existing customers
5. To renegotiate existing service contracts prior to their renewal date, reviewing poor performing contracts to improve profitability
6. Support the branches for complex service contracts and all large portfolio tenders where required
7. Making Customer Visits and Presentations
8. Monitor and manage discount levels
9. Collaborate and active involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process for service sales
10. Continuous monitoring of the contract portfolio development
11. Develop and support sales processes, tools, guidelines and monitor appropriate implementation into the branch
12. Manage the annual portfolio price increase, on a monthly basis
13. Support branch in any questions regarding processes and tools
14. Monitor and analyse regularly the competitor strategies and market developments
15. Analyse root causes on significant cancellation/loss
16. To adhere fully to the company core values

18. Employees must comply with Company Health & Safety requirements and set a personal example of safe behaviour
19. Employees will be required to contribute to the Company safety objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to Schindler Ltd occupational health and safety management system
Candidate Requirements:
20. Positive self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude experienced in generating new leads and converting sales opportunities
21. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain long term relationships with stakeholders at all levels
22. Demonstrable success in new business sales; you should have a proven track record of delivering growth within a service contract sales environment
23. Motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations
24. High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
25. Ability to prioritise and multi-task large workload fluctuations at a high level whilst remaining calm under pressure
26. Shares information and keeps stakeholders informed

28. Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
29. Experience working with SAP and CRMs would be advantageous
30. Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel is essential
31. Experienced account manager within the lift industry preferred
