About the role 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for somebody to take on a vibrant and rewarding role within the Housing Sector. Do you want to start a career in housing and learn on the job whilst gaining a recognised professional qualification? Join us as a Housing Services Apprentice and gain hands-on experience. 
As a Housing Services Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced housing professionals to support the delivery of our housing service. You’ll gain insight into how we allocate homes, support new tenants, manage tenancies, and engage with communities. 
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll develop key skills in customer service, communication, and administration—helping us provide safe, secure, and affordable homes to those who need them most. 
What You’ll Learn 
How the choice-based lettings system operates, including policies and procedures 
How to support customers through the lettings journey 
How to use housing systems and maintain accurate records 
How to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners 
Professional skills such as time management, teamwork, and problem-solving 
What We’re Looking For 
A genuine interest in housing and helping others 
Good communication and organisational skills 
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges 
Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) 
No prior experience required—just enthusiasm and commitment 
Apprenticeship Details 
You will work towards a recognised professional housing qualification, where you will be supported by a dedicated mentor and training provider throughout your journey.

 * Digitally confident – comfortable using basic IT tools such as email, Word, and Excel.
