What you'll be doing
As Process Development Technologist, you will manage manufacturing projects related to process development and line trials.
* Support creation of customer and factory specifications for accurate product labelling
* Plan and execute process development and line trials to meet customer needs and improve processes
* Provide process guidance to manufacturing teams to promote best practices and efficiency
* Monitor process trends, ensure launch deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers
* Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects and trials for process and product enhancements
* Ensure documentation of line trials adheres to food safety, quality standards, and customer requirements
* Assess equipment capability to align with standards and drive improvements
* Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment policies
What we're looking for

* A degree in food science or related field, with relevant experience in food manufacturing
* Essential qualifications: Level 3 Food Hygiene, Level 2 Health & Safety, HACCP, Sensory Training, Microbiological Training
* Experience in shelf-life evaluation and interpretation of customer codes of practice
* Proficiency with computer programs and analysis of project results
* Knowledge of legal labelling legislation and retailer web systems (desirable)
* Understanding of relevant technology and key performance indicators
* Skills in GMP, hygiene principles, legal labelling, and weight legislation
