Im working with an outstanding provider of therapeutic residential care for children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and trauma-based needs and theyre looking for a Childrens Residential Deputy Manager to join their established, passionate team in Spalding.
? About the home:
Stunning 4x bedded home supporting young people aged 1118
Mixed-gender placements
2x wonderful young people currently in placement who love football, dancing, singing, swimming, laser tag & bowling!
Therapeutic setting specialising in EBD, trauma, and CSE
Fully staffed with an experienced, supportive Manager and a settled team
3x week rolling rota (Mon/Thu, Tue/Fri/Sun, Wed/Sat)
Mix of office-based and on-shift hours
39 hours a week & 46 sleeps per month
Additional 8 homes in the region = incredible peer support & progression

Minimum Must-Haves:
2+ years experience in residential childcare
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Manual driving licence
Passion for making a positive difference in childrens lives
? What youll be doing:
Leading by example on shift, supporting a team of experienced carers
Providing 1:1 support for children in a warm, safe, therapeutic environment
Collaborating closely with the Registered Manager & Management team
Making a tangible difference in the lives of children recovering from trauma
Youll be a role model for the staff and a steady presence for the young people.
Supporting and developing staff through supervision and hands on coaching
Overseeing paperwork, risk assessments, and shift debriefs
Working collaboratively with Local Authorities, education, and health professionals
Ensuring the home remains compliant with Ofsted, Quality Standards, and Health & Safety guidelines
Encouraging a positive team culture and reflective practice
