Sports Coach Location: Sheffield (S17) Salary: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you passionate about sports and eager to inspire young people to lead active, healthy lifestyles? GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coaches to work within schools across Sheffield. As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in supporting PE departments and delivering a wide range of sporting activities. You will work with students to build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and encourage a positive attitude towards fitness and wellbeing. To be a Sports Coach, your responsibilities will be: Deliver and assist in PE lessons and sports sessions across different age groups. Support students in developing skills in various sports and physical activities. Provide tailored coaching to individuals and small groups. Promote inclusion, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Assist in organising and managing extracurricular clubs, competitions, and events. Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Sports Coach Requirements: Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role is desirable. Coaching qualifications or a sports-related degree are advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young people. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
