Proactive Personnel are currently looking for Plant Fitters to start work for our client based in Leyland.
Duties include:
1. Performing routine servicing, emergency repairs, and maintenance of heavy plant, construction, and earthmoving machinery.
2. Using diagnostic equipment to identify electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
3. Conducting inspections, testing, and signing off equipment to ensure it is safe for use.
4. Removing, repairing, and replacing worn or faulty parts.
Requirements:
5. Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably working on heavy plant machinery.
6. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
7. Ability to read technical drawings, use welding equipment, and work with hand tools.
8. Full UK Driving Licence.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 05:45- 16:15. Overtime Available.
