The role
* As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will primarily deliver Flood Risk and Drainage strategies to support planning for our clients.
* You will also progress detailed drainage and highways design post-planning to technical approval and construction.
* Prepare Technical Highways drawings (e.g., preliminary general arrangements, S278, and S38 designs) following National Standards and Council guidelines.
* Develop Drainage strategies to support planning applications, considering SuDS principles.
* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments to support planning applications.
* Liaise with stakeholders, project team members, and clients.
* Undertake site visits.
* Support team growth through Business Development and social events.
* Assist with the development of junior staff.
What you need to succeed
* Hold a relevant Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
* Have 3 or more years of relevant experience within the field of Infrastructure/Civil Engineering.
* Be capable of working independently to deliver engineering solutions to a high standard.
* Be able to prioritize workload and manage the delivery of multiple projects to defined deadlines.
* Have a commercial knowledge of the industry and manage financial and time considerations within a project.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and project team members.
