About the Opportunity
A long‑established consultancy in Sheffield is looking to strengthen its building services team with an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer. They're keen to bring in someone who's already built a solid base of mechanical design experience and is now ready to push on toward a senior role. You'll be involved in a broad mix of projects and given the space to grow your technical and project responsibilities.

Mechanical design work across a variety of building projects
Producing calculations, drawings, schedules, and reports
Coordinating with electrical engineers, architects, and wider design teams
Supporting project delivery from early concept through to handover
Helping refine internal processes and contributing to best practiceWhat They're Hoping You'll Bring
Around four years' experience in mechanical building services design
Good working knowledge of industry standards and relevant software
Ability to manage your own workload and support the wider team
Strong communication skills and a practical, problem‑solving mindset
Experience within a building design consultancy or construction environment (preferred)
