We are currently looking for a Support Worker to provide housing related advice and support to families who have accommodation related support needs or at risk of homelessness. In addition to housing and tenancy related support, you will support families facing a range of challenges, including mental health concerns, budgeting and financial management, benefits, substance misuse and domestic abuse.
You will deliver professional, person centred and impartial support. We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines are essential.
A sound understanding of housing legislation and the benefits system is crucial, as you will be expected to provide accurate advice and guidance, ensuring individuals are supported to access the services and resources they need.
