SEN Teaching Assistants – Primary & Secondary Schools, Coventry
Location: Coventry
Contract: Full-time, long-term and day-to-day opportunities available
Start Date: Immediate or after half term
Pay: £95 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support Primary and Secondary schools across Coventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, global developmental delay, communication difficulties, and social-emotional needs. You’ll play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.

Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
*
Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs.
*
Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
*
Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in a school or similar setting).
* A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
