This is a high-profile role offering a salary of £60,000 plus performance-related bonuses, ideal for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering food and service to a consistently high standard, taking full leadership of the kitchen brigade, ensuring seamless daily operations and maintaining the integrity of the seasonal menu offer.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a brigade of 8 chefs
* Maintain and develop the exceptional food quality and presentation standards
* Train, mentor and develop the team
* Effective communication with key departments is paramount to this roles' ongoing success
* Continue to develop relationships with suppliers and manage stock levels
* Control food costs and minimise waste
* Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance standards
* Deliver smooth daily service in a calm and organized manner
About You
* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing teams within a professional kitchen
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Proactive, takes initiative and leads by example
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise
* Supportive team player with a hands-on approach
* Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
* Flexible and willing to work in line with the needs of the business
