A day in the life of…

As our Hotel Reservations & Sales Manager, you'll be the face of our hotel to potential clients. You'll use your excellent communication and negotiation skills to generate revenue by selling our services and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for identifying potential clients, negotiating contracts, and creating sales strategies in collaboration with our marketing and operations teams. It's important that you maintain positive relationships with existing clients, track industry trends, and provide regular reports to senior management. You will also be responsible for managing the hotel's Reservations Team, ensuring group and transient reservations are efficiently managed. We're looking for someone who is approachable, friendly, and passionate about hospitality. A note on requirements

What we need from you?

* Sales Experience: Prior sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Familiar with the sales process, including identifying leads, creating proposals, and closing deals. Ideally able to produce group proposals, negotiate contracts and explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
* Revenue-driven mindset: Desire to drive revenue by effectively managing all aspects of Sales & Marketing for the Hotel within the local, national and international marketplace. This includes management of company social media pages and marketing campaigns.
* New business development: Identify and proactively solicit new business, manage key accounts and agents to increase revenue and share, in line with the hotels’ sales and revenue management strategies.
* Reservations strategy: Formulate and implement Reservations Management strategies for accommodation to maximise potential and increase competitive share by managing and processing individual and group bookings efficiently. Past experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
* Forecasting: Assist the Revenue Manager in producing a weekly financial forecast for accommodation.
* Pricing and inventory: Use statistical data to set future pricing & selling strategies for group and transient accommodation and manage inventory strategies for systems.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate the hotel's value proposition clearly and confidently to potential clients, with the ability to build rapport and relationships.
* Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure the hotel's success.
* Organisation and attention to detail: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and stay organised in a fast-paced role.
