Job Description: We are currently recruiting for x2 experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Stoke-On-Trent for a temp-perm opportunity. * x1 afternoon driving position (weekly 50 hours minimum) * x1 night driving position (weekly 50 hours minimum) * Mon-Fri (occasional weekends) * £15.05p/h (overtime available) Benefits * Overtime available * 1/2 day annual leave added each year of employment * Free gym membership * Bonuses available each quarter Responsibilities * Safely operate HGV 1 Vehicle to deliver goods to specified locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition. * Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. * Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays. * Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. * Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
