Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Degree qualification or equivalent
* Excellent teaching skills
* Experience teaching KS2/KS3/KS4
* Ability to teach across curriculum subjects including English, Maths, Science
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
* Innovative pedagogy understanding
* Experience with assessment without levels and tracking pupil progress
* Knowledge of statutory assessment at KS4
* Effective behaviour management strategies
* Inclusion knowledge, including SEMH, EAL, bilingual learners, minority ethnic achievement and equality
* Safeguarding knowledge for vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils
* Strategies for closing the gap
* Willingness to teach multiple subjects
* Understanding of SEND needs, including SEMH
* Ability to develop effective relationships with young people, families, and external agencies
* Ensuring student views are valued and acted upon
* Creating inclusive resources and environments
* Collaborating with team members for resource deployment
