Role: Advanced Clinical Practitioner (MSc) or Credentialed
Hours: Negotiable Full and part time available
Pay: £27.49–£30.63 per hour depending on experience (pending pay review)
Base: Doncaster Urgent and Emergency Care Services
Reports to: Clinical Manager (Yorkshire)
Accountable to: Clinical Head of Integrated Urgent Care

Location: Doncaster (across UTC, SDHC, ECP home visiting and OOH triage services)
Responsibilities
* Work in urgent and/or primary care settings across Doncaster to assess, diagnose, treat, refer and discharge patients with minor injury and illness within agreed parameters.
* Provide advanced clinical skills and advice, working autonomously while adhering to local policies and Clinical Governance.
* Offer guidance and support to staff; identify factors influencing health and quality of life; utilise non-medical prescribing within local formulary and governance frameworks.
* Undertake annual audit of prescribing practices; ensure safeguarding (child protection and vulnerable adults) legislation compliance.
* Contribute to policy/guidelines/protocol development; participate in service planning and workload management to meet patient needs.
* Promote positive stakeholder relationships; contribute to clinical governance, incident reporting, investigations and complaints management; engage in peer review.
* Be flexible to support service needs across multiple sites and the home visiting service.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; attend training and report concerns as required.
Professional and Prescribing
* Maintain professional registration; CPD; portfolio in line with advanced practice framework.
* Be a Designated Prescribing Practitioner for non-medical prescribing students; hold V300 qualification; review Personal Formulary annually.
* Ensure adherence to confidentiality, documentation and professional guidelines; engage in clinical supervision.
Qualifications and Experience
* Essential: MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent with Level 7 qualifications; credentialed; experience in unscheduled/urgent care; independent practice in primary/urgent care; non-medical prescribing; clinical supervision experience; pediatric/adult minor illness competency.
* Desirable: triage/streaming experience; specialty qualifications; paediatric assessment; DPP qualification; teaching/mentorship qualification.
