Responsibilities: We build and improve software that interfaces directly with real-world equipment, including power supplies, acquisition systems, cameras, and test hardware. We develop and maintain automation, database, test, and calibration workflows. We work on end-to-end systems rather than a narrow slice of software. We contribute to performance optimisation, parallel processing, and multithreading improvements. We support the use of machine learning and emerging AI where it adds value. We work with existing codebases and continuously improve them.
