What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting.
* A calm, caring approach with a genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing and development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
* Flexibility to assist a wide range of learning needs across the class.
* Reliability, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude towards supporting teaching and learning.
* A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential).
Your Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive, and creative lessons.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group assistance to help pupils access learning with confidence.
* Prepare resources and contribute to the organisation of a positive, stimulating classroom environment.
* Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience, and positive behaviour.
* Play an active role in a caring, collaborative school community where every child is valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
