Supply Teacher
Teaching Personnel are looking for flexible Secondary Supply Teachers to support day‑to‑day and short‑term cover across Stockport secondary schools, including Cheadle, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Heaton Chapel and the wider Stockport area.
This is a perfect role for teachers who want full control over their schedule, enjoy variety, and want to gain experience across different school settings without the commitment of planning or marking. Qualified Teachers and ECTs of any subject specialism are invited to apply for this role because schools require flexible cover across a wide range of departments on a day‑to‑day basis.
The Role
Day‑to‑day and short‑term cover in local secondary schools across Stockport
Work as often as you choose (1–5 days per week)
Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment whilst providing excellent behaviour management
No planning, marking or long‑term expectations
Opportunities to teach in a range of subjects depending on your experience
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or is an ECT
Confident managing behaviour and adapting to new classrooms
Reliable, flexible, and available at short notice
Happy to work in different schools across Stockport
Able to travel via car or public transport
What We Offer
Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience: £140 - £170 per day (£700 - £850 per week)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
