The Role: Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support four pupils with a range of additional needs. Your role will include providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support, helping children to access learning activities, and promoting positive social and emotional development.
You will assist pupils in developing early communication, literacy, numeracy, and play-based skills, ensuring each child feels secure, encouraged, and able to make progress. You will also help adapt learning activities, monitor individual progress, and play an active part in the wider life of the early years setting.
