We have a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator/Business Support Officer to join our Property Services Team. Our Corporate Property Service provides an innovative property maintenance function for Solihull Council, academies and other housing associations across the West Midlands. We work in partnership to ensure we provide a competitive, sustainable and value for money service. As Business Support Officer, you will handle and process repair enquiries and requests received via telephone and e-mail and be responsible for creating works orders. You will also carry out telephone customer satisfaction surveys and maintain daily contact with our partners and customers. Other duties may include invoice processing and data reconciliation work and clerical support in the provision and delivery of a comprehensive property maintenance service. To be successful in the role you will have A minimum 3 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics Grade AC (4-9) (or equivalent) or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of numeracy and literacy. Experience of working within an administrative/clerical environment. Customer focused Confident IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (or similar) Accuracy and attention to detail Effective communication skills with the ability to deal with a range of customers and stakeholders Ability to work in a pressurised environment with a positive approach To ensure the efficient operation of the service and in order to provide office/phone cover, you will be expected to take part in a team rota that will require you to either work from 8-4pm or from 9-5pm on a rolling basis.
