Structural Analysis Engineer

There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops and manufacture range of bespoke products as a Structural Analysis Engineer. As Structural Analysis Engineer, you will act as the structural technical authority across several products, contributing to all phases of the project life cycle-from research and design through to production and customer support.
You will take a lead role in conducting structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools such as Abaqus, supporting design reviews, guiding colleagues, and contributing to the certification of high-performance systems.

Structural Analysis Engineer Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of hardware, bonded assemblies, insulants, adhesives, and energetic materials.
2. Lead rheological analysis of materials and support validation and verification of FEA models.
3. Develop and deliver structural test plans, assess results, and contribute to product certification activities.
4. Prepare and present technical reports, design records, and documentation to support project milestones.
5. Stay up to date with industry innovations and lead research into new technologies.
Structural Analysis Engineer Requirements:
6. Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural or related Engineering discipline.
7. Must have structural analysis experience.
8. Proficiency in Abaqus FEA (essential).
9. Skilled in Microsoft Office; CAD and Altair-Hyperworks experience is an advantage.
10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
11. A team player with the ability to mentor others and deliver high-quality results on time.
