Our client, a major player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Manchester. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of significant and diverse civil engineering projects, providing essential quantity surveying expertise within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels
* Cost management and project forecasting
* Drafting and updating monthly CVRs, cost and commercial plans
* Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting
* Preparation of project applications for payment to final account settlement
* Liaison with clients and third parties on commercial issues
* Managing contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC forms
* Supporting internal commercial processes
Job Requirements:
* Experience in the construction / water industries
* Knowledge of IChemE and NEC forms of contract
* Experience in commercial management & Quantity Surveying
* Proven experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysis
* Membership of RICS or similar professional body
* CSCS card
* Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
* Experience managing or mentoring team members
