Job Description
* Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely payments.
* Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payment issues professionally.
* Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
* Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and cash collections.
* Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support month-end processes.
* Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
* Assist in implementing improvements to credit control procedures and systems.
* Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in a credit control or similar accounting role.
* Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
