This is an exciting opportunity in a progressive contracts manager role based in Warrington to showcase your ideas, skills and experience within an innovative, future thinking, global engineering consultancy / contractor. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key role within a successful ground engineering team with multiple offices across the UK.
What we are looking for:
Detailed understanding of contaminated land, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports, inclusive of risk-based approach to the assessment of contaminated land.
Experienced in managing contracts and reviewing reports.
Fully versed with the CDM Regulations.
Experience of working with clients.
Competent with contaminated land data handling, including experience in the use of GIS/QGIS
Relevant technical degree Geology or similar
Desirable - Master's degree (Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering)Typical duties will include:
Leadership of contaminated land and ground investigation.
Managing contracts and reviewing permits.
Writing reports and delivering remediation options appraisals
Ensuring all deliverables are to the highest quality environmental standards, including health and safety and risk assessments.
Geo-environmental ground investigation design, works specification, bill of quantities and Health and safety requirements.This contracts manager position offers:
