Had Fab Ltd is a leading structural steel and fabrication business supporting major infrastructure, transport, energy, and industrial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and investment across the business, we are looking to appoint an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to support our operational and commercial teams.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the HR Business Partner will provide both strategic and operational HR support across multiple areas of the business. You will play a key role in supporting managers, driving people initiatives, and ensuring HR best practice is embedded throughout the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Partnering with managers across Operations, Commercial, and Support functions
* Supporting employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
* Leading recruitment and workforce planning activity alongside hiring managers
* Supporting organisational development and succession planning initiatives
* Advising managers on employment law, policies, and HR best practice
* Supporting employee engagement and retention strategies
* Assisting with HR reporting, metrics, and people analytics
* Supporting change management and business improvement projects
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can build strong relationships across all levels of the business and operate confidently within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
* Experience supporting operational or manufacturing environments
* Strong employee relations experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
* Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)
