Job Description
3. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded appropriately.
5. Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
6. Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
7. Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
8. Manage payroll processing and maintain employee records where required.
9. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc financial tasks.
10. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 100% Remote Xero Bookkeeper should have:
11. Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role within the accounting and finance sector.
12. Working knowledge of the software Xero.
13. Familiarity with accounting software and tools, ensuring efficient task completion.
14. Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
15. A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
16. Effective organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
