Somerce is a TikTok Shop specialist agency focused on driving GMV growth for brands. We work with some of the fastest-growing beauty, fashion, lifestyle and FMCG brands across the UK, US and EU, delivering high-performance live commerce, affiliate strategy, paid media and trading execution.
As we scale, finance becomes even more critical. This role sits at the core of the business, ensuring accuracy, control and visibility across our numbers.
You will work closely with the CFO and external accountants, supporting day-to-day finance operations while helping maintain clean, reliable financial reporting.
What You Will Do
Financial Operations & Accuracy
* Support day-to-day finance operations across the business
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
* Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
* Ensure revenue, costs and margins are correctly tracked
P&L Management & Reporting
* Support the preparation and maintenance of P&L reports
* Ensure accuracy across:
o Revenue recognition
o Cost allocation
o Client profitability
* * Help identify discrepancies and resolve issues quickly
* Contribute to improving reporting processes and clarity
Accounts Receivable & Debt Collection
* Own debtor management and cash collection processes
* Chase outstanding invoices in a professional and consistent manner
* Maintain clear visibility of:
o Aged debt
o Payment timelines
* * Work closely with account teams to resolve client payment issues
* Help improve cash flow through tighter processes
Accounts Payable & Supplier Management
* Support invoice processing and payment runs
* Ensure supplier invoices are accurate and approved
* Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records
* Liaise with suppliers where needed
Working with Accountants & CFO
* Act as a key point of contact for external accountants
* Support month-end and year-end processes
* Assist with:
o Reconciliations
o VAT returns
o Financial audits
* * Work directly with the CFO on:
o Financial tracking
o Process improvements
o Ad hoc analysis

* Help build and improve finance processes as the business scales
* Ensure systems are used correctly and consistently
* Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements
* Support implementation of new tools where needed

Requirements
Essential
* Experience in a finance assistant, accounts assistant or similar role
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Comfortable working with financial data and spreadsheets
* Understanding of:
o Basic accounting principles
o P&L structure
o Invoicing and reconciliations
* * Confident communicator, able to chase payments professionally
* Highly organised with strong time management
Desirable
* Experience working in an agency, e-commerce or high-growth business
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
* Experience supporting month-end processes
* AAT qualified or studying (or equivalent)
