Are you an experienced and enthusiastic educator with a passion for supporting young learners? We're looking for a dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school!
Key Responsibilities for a High-Level Teaching Assistant HLTA :
* Assisting classroom teachers with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects and key stages.
* Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional help with their learning.
* Implementing and adapting educational programs to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
* Supporting the management of classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Assisting with the assessment of student progress and providing feedback to teachers to inform future planning.
* Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and interventions.
* Supervising students during class activities, outings, and break times to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Contributing to the overall pastoral care and support of students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
Ideal High-Level Teaching Assistant HLTA Qualifications:
* Previous experience working as a High level teaching assistant or in a similar educational support role.
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting student learning and development.
* Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures, including safeguarding and inclusion.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing your skills as an educator.
* Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced school environment.
