Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes across a range of subjects during teacher absences
Deliver pre‑planned lessons and ensure students stay focused and on task
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a calm, productive environment
Support students with learning as required
Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders
Person Specification
Previous experience in a secondary school (Cover Supervisor, TA, Tutor or similar)
Confident managing behaviour and leading a classroom independently
Reliable, adaptable, and willing to accept short‑notice bookings
Strong communication and organisational skills
Degree or education‑related qualification is desirable but not essential
