ABOUT THE ROLE
My Client is looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Buyers Admin Assistant to join their Product team in Manchester. This is a fast-paced, task-focused role that plays a vital part in keeping the buying function running efficiently and accurately.
You will support the end-to-end buying process, ensuring product data, pricing, and systems are maintained with precision. From managing the critical path and coordinating technical assessments to supporting product listings and handling supplier communications, your work will underpin the successful delivery of products to market.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accurate product and pricing data across internal systems
* Supporting critical path management from initial brief to product launch
* Coordinating technical assessments, approvals, and certification tracking
* Assisting with the creation of high-quality, market-leading product listings
* Managing and organising product samples throughout their lifecycle
* Creating and updating SKUs, range plans, and system data
* Liaising with suppliers to gather product information and ensure timely delivery of assets
* Reviewing inspection reports and escalating risks where necessary
This role is central to ensuring processes run smoothly, deadlines are met, and risks are identified early. It’s an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in buying and product development within a collaborative and supportive team.
