:
1. Ensure that the Horsham entities’ accounting is performed as stated in company procedures, financial close schedules and in accordance with US GAAP, SOX and statutory laws.
2. Analytical review of the monthly financial results of Horsham with regards to quality and compliance of those results and processes.
3. Technical accounting research of complex issues to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with US GAAP, company policies and statutory regulations.
4. Review and improve the quality of accounting activities and processes such as reconciliations and journal entries, ensure accounting activities are well supported, documented and audit ready.
5. Actively support the Finance and Accounting team during month-ends on complex accounting treatments as defined in the close schedules and check lists to ensure accuracy, timeliness, consistency and completeness of the financial results.
6. Assist with the implementation of new operation and financial software within Horsham.
7. Lead direct and indirect tax compliance and relationship with corporate tax teams as well as local authorities.
8. Manage site compliance with treasury and tax related relationships with corporate teams and external partners.
9. Support all internal and external audits .
10. Prepare UK statutory accounts for review by the Senior Manager Accounting and Sr Finance Director.
11. Identify and drive improvement initiatives to ensure enough support for changing business dynamics; full accountability to understand needs, development of implementation plans and the corresponding execution.
12. Provide advice and guidance to business on finance related matters, ensuring consistency and compliance with Finance policies and standards.
13. Provide guidance and support to the Sr Manager Accounting in Basel, sharing knowledge and expertise.
14. Exhibits personal responsibility/accountability and open communications.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
15. Candidate will show strength in the following areas: technical accounting knowledge, internal control, indirect tax knowledge, and financial reporting.

23. Excellent skills with MS Excel, Power BI and MS PowerPoint are required; Further IT skills such as Data Warehouse, Oracle, COGNOS, and Visual Basic.
Education/ Experience:
24. Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Qualified Accountant with significant post qualification experience. CIMA/ACCA/ACA
25. Advanced Qualification Preferred (MBA, or MS)
26. Has a strong background as a Statutory Controller
