The specialist leads the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions—primarily Power Automate, with support for Power BI and Power Apps—to streamline business processes, enhance data integration, and improve reporting. Key responsibilities include supporting the establishment of a Centre of Excellence, collaborating across teams to identify automation opportunities, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant.

The specialist is accountable for delivering robust automation solutions, contributing to strategic digital transformation, and supporting a community of practice around Power Platform and D365.

We support our team in gaining Microsoft certifications using the Enterprise Skills Initiative. There are many opportunities for career growth within the wider DDaT directorate and beyond.

The role criteria

* Collaborating with colleagues across TPR to identify automation opportunities and advocate for Power Platform adoption.
* Contributing to the setup and governance of the Power Platform CoE, including best practices, standards, and reusable components.
* Ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with TPR's governance frameworks and data protection regulations.
* Representing Power Platform capabilities in internal and cross-government forums and contributing to strategic planning for automation and digital transformation.

The team

The successful applicant will be joining a multi-disciplinary team focused on process analysis, simplification and automation including business analysts, service design specialists, data scientists and more.
