Are you a qualified Town Planner looking for your next opportunity in a rural -focused planning environment?
We're looking for a motivated and capable Town Planner with 2–8 years of experience to join a friendly and supportive planning team working across Kent and East Sussex. Our work is predominantly in rural areas, supporting landowners, farmers, and rural businesses with a wide range of planning applications and development proposals.
You'll be involved in preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, appraisals, and strategic advice — often in the context of agricultural and countryside -related development. This is a role that blends technical planning expertise with a practical, solutions -focused approach.
What we're looking for:
* 2 to 8 years' experience in town planning (private or public sector)
* Ideally with LPA (local planning authority) experience
* MRTPI status or on the pathway to achieving it
* A completed RTPI -accredited Masters (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (site visits are essential)
* A genuine interest in rural planning and supporting farming communities
