About the Role: The primary function of the Territory Business Manager AWC is to grow territory sales for advanced wound care through consultation with clinical and appropriate commercial customers in the community and hospital. Training and education to support product use. Pull through of formularies and pathways.
Territory: Hereford, Worcester, Coventry and Warwickshire
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive overachievement of sales targets across the territory.
2. Engage with key clinical product prescribing stakeholders, including TVNs, Podiatrists, DNs, Specialist Nurses, and ANPs.
3. Initiate and drive product evaluations in hospitals and communities through liaison with key clinical decision-makers.
4. Secure product awards following ICB and Provider formulary inclusion.
5. Increase clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical guidelines.
6. Pull through of the business is crucial following on from the formulary inclusion
7. Demonstrate in-depth clinical and product knowledge within key indication areas.
8. Develop robust and strategic account plans to maximize the opportunity pipeline.
9. Protect existing business through collaborative stakeholder engagement.
10. Ensure correct and competent use of Convatec brands through regular training of Territory HCPs.
11. Facilitate audits to gather prevalence data.
12. Plan and implement local studies and educational activities to raise awareness of therapy areas and build a platform for sales opportunities.
13. Meet agreed Metrics & SFE Standards while adhering to the company's compliance policy and Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics.
14. Utilize the CRM system effectively, recording calls daily and fully utilizing the platform in line with company KPIs.
About You:
15. Selling experience within medical/pharma industry, selling to primary and/or secondary care.
16. Demonstrative ability to collaboratively work with all of the key functions of Convatec UKI AWC team
17. Educated to degree level, with ideally a bio-medical sciences background or nursing experience. Recent graduates with a Bio-medical sciences degree will be considered
18. Tenacity, be highly motivated and goal oriented
19. Strong and impactful communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships and influence key decision makers
20. The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of NHS structure
21. Demonstrates skills at meeting or exceeding targets
22. Strong presentation & IT skills
23. An understanding of the structure, strategies and key priorities of the NHS and up-to-date NHS terminology
24. Experience of working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done.
25. Good working IT knowledge (Microsoft software inc. Excel, PPT & Word ) & CRM experience
Working Requirements:
In the field 5 days per week, 90% customer facing. Travel - on occasion as business needs require minimal overnight stays will be required.
