About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking talented Commissioning Engineers to join us for an immediate mobilisation to one of our commissioning teams in the South of England.
Candidates must either be already BPSS cleared or be able to secure BPSS and SC clearance.
The role:
The Commissioning Engineer will be part of a multi-discipline commissioning team supporting the project commissioning team leader through the preparation and execution phases. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. Role model proactive safety practices across nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental safety.
* Carrying out commissioning preparation, test documentation, test packs, and RAMS.
* Conducting testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.
* Contributing to test documentation, FOBs, and TQs initiation and implementation.
* Witnessing testing activities by third parties.
* Applying and removing Temporary Commissioning Aids.
* Recording supporting data according to test requirements.
* Driving continuous improvement within the commissioning process and progressing to meet schedule deadlines.
* Developing commissioning plans and managing tasks within the System Commissioning scope, detailed in the Plant test schedule, System Commissioning Plan, and System Acceptance Plan.
What You'll Need:
* Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule.
* Experience with completion management systems.
* HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of commissioning experience in the nuclear industry or a highly regulated industry.
