About The Role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect variations.
* Participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
* Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals; respond to reasonable requests and escalate concerns or complaints as needed.

Qualifications / Your Ideal Candidate
* Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Ability to be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
